Alexa Notary4U LLC’s Backstory
Launched in Feburary of 2025, I started this business in honor of my grandfather also known as “Bucky”. He inspired me as he was also a small business owner, and wanted me to pursue something that would always help and be beneficial to the public. Now a few years later in honor him and countless other military and first responders within my family, I wanted to start this notary business in order to make the Notarization process as easy and enjoyable as possible for everyone involved, especially for those who put their lives out on the line for us!

The 4 Easy Steps
1.
Fill in all the blanks for your document
Please fill out your document accordingly while leaving the notarization section empty, and please DO NOT sign before the appointment. You MUST sign in front of me during the notarization appointment.
2.
Valid, Unexpired Government Issued-ID
Please make sure ahead of time that your government issued ID (Driver’s License, State-ID, Passport, Military, etc.) is valid and unexpired as both requirements must be met in order to proceed through the notarization. If unexpired or nonvalid ID, your appointment may be reschedule until valid and unexpired identification is provided. Every signer is required this step, it must also match the name that is written exactly on the documents.
3.
Clarify Questions in Advance
If you have questions about how to complete the document, contact the person who drafted or requested the document. A notary public is unable to provide legal advice or assistance in the drafting and/or completion of any documents.
4.
Know which Notary Certificate you need
A Notary Public cannot give advice on which certificate to use. If you do not know which notarial certificate your document needs, please contact the originator of the documents to see which certificate is required. Some examples of notarial certificates are Jurats, Oaths, Affirmations, Acknowledgments, etc.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
-
A Notary Public is an official of integrity appointed by state government — typically by the secretary of state — to serve the public as an impartial witness in performing a variety of official fraud-deterrent acts related to the signing of important documents. These official acts are called notarizations, or notarial acts. Notaries are publicly commissioned as "ministerial" officials, meaning that they are expected to follow written rules without the exercise of significant personal discretion, as would otherwise be the case with a "judicial" official.
-
A Notary's duty is to screen the signers of important documents for their true identity, their willingness to sign without duress or intimidation, and their awareness of the contents of the document or transaction. Some notarizations also require the Notary to put the signer under an oath, declaring under penalty of perjury that the information contained in a document is true and correct. Loan Signing Agent has the benefits of being a Notary but also being able to guide you through the Loan Documents process and help complete them.

The name you will be signing on the document must match or be “Shorter than” the name on your ID. An ID in your maiden name along with a marriage license evidencing your married name is not acceptable.
-
An oath is a solemn promise to God and an affirmation is a solemn promise on one's own personal honor. If your notarial act requires an oath or affirmation, I will ask you to choose one of these.

"RON" stands for "Remote Online Notarization," which means a notary can electronically notarize documents with a signer who is not physically present in the same location, using secure audio-visual technology like a webcam to verify their identity and witness their signature, all done through a dedicated online platform. In Texas, this process requires the notary to be physically located within the state while the signer can be anywhere.
